Privacy Policy

AnokaSmart InterviewDesk (“AnokaSmart”, “we”, “us”) is an AI-powered mock interview coaching and interview-scheduling platform. This policy explains what information we collect from candidates and coordinators who use the platform, and how we use it.

Account information: your name and email address, collected either when you sign up directly or when you sign in with Google.

Resume content: if you upload a resume (PDF/DOCX) to generate interview questions, we extract and process its text content.

Interview session data: your spoken or typed responses during mock interview sessions, along with AI-generated feedback and scores (naturalness, clarity, relevance, etc.).

Booking data: if you book an interview slot, we store the slot time, booking status, and any cancellation reason you provide.

Usage data: basic activity such as sign-in timestamps, session counts, and streak/progress tracking.

• To run mock interview sessions and generate relevant questions and feedback
• To let coordinators schedule and manage interview slots with candidates
• To send transactional emails (welcome messages, booking confirmations, cancellations, reminders)
• To maintain your account, progress history, and dashboard
• To improve the quality and relevance of generated questions and feedback

We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to operate the platform:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting
• Google OAuth — optional sign-in method (we only receive your name and email)
• OpenAI — generates interview questions and evaluates responses
• Vercel — application hosting
• Gmail / Google Workspace — sending transactional emails

We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

We retain your account and session data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to remove your account, your profile and associated data are permanently deleted and your email becomes free to sign up again. Suspending an account (instead of removing it) retains your data but blocks sign-in.

• You can review and update your profile information from your account settings
• You can request permanent deletion of your account and data at any time
• You can decline to use Google sign-in and use email/password instead

We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, access-controlled databases, and scoped API credentials) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information to the best of our ability.

AnokaSmart InterviewDesk is intended for job-seeking adults and is not directed at children under 16.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
